A cherry-poppinly-good blend of Cherry Liqueur, Martel Cognac, Cherry Puree and cherry syrup. This very cherry beauty was a spur-of-the moment concoction of our head bar man Chris Maltman, and was so good, it’s here to stay!

Manhattan
A well-rounded cocktail made from American Bourbon, sweet Vermouth and a touch of lime for a little sharpness. It may be named after a New York province, but popular stories state that it was actually designed for Jennie Jerome – the mother of a certain Mr. Winston Churchill.

Cosmopolitan
Sex And The City may have made it famous, but Bar Txt have made it perfect. An imaginative mix of vodka, orange liqueur and cranberry juice, with just a hint of lime. It’s enough to make you ditch your Manolos in favour of something a little more, err, drinkable!

Margarita
Tequila makes you happy, and Margaritas are sure to make you ecstatic! Gold tequila, mixed with triple sec and a perfect balance of lemon and lime juice. Be careful though – one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor…

Singapore Sling
A beautifully pink cocktail, invented at the famous Raffles hotel in Singapore, sometime before 1915. A lush mix of Beefeater gin, Cherry liqueur, lime and grenadine, served tall and topped up with soda. It’s enough to take you far far away.

Moscow Mule
The cocktail that vodka owes its popularity to. A brilliantly simple mix of fresh lime, angostura bitters, vodka and ginger beer, served tall. This drink had such an impact on America, that within ten years of the cocktail being launched, vodka sales were leaving gin in the dust.

Brandy Alexander
Created in 1922, the Brandy Alexander has become a staple of any good bar menu. A beautiful mix of crème de cacao, Martel cognac, and fresh double cream to help it go down smooth. The brandy Alexander even has a song named after it – it ‘goes down easy’ and ‘always gets me into trouble’.

Bloody Mary
The ultimate hangover cure. Vodka shaken with Tobasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato juice, with a touch of salt and pepper to get the flavour right. Hair of the dog is the only way to ‘cure’ a hangover. That is a fact. We think.

Mojito
One word: Fantastic. By far the most popular cocktail in the history of everything that has ever happened. Fresh lime juice, brown sugar and fresh mint, with a generous measure of Havana Club rum, served with crushed ice. Warning, it is one of those drinks that you can’t just have one of.

Caipirinha
A beautiful cousin of the Mojito, and the national cocktail of Brazil. Fresh lime, white sugar and Cachaça stirred with crushed ice. The word that caipirinha derives from, literally means hillbilly in Portuguese. Make of that what you will!

Long Island Iced Tea
Not one for the faint hearted! A tricky mix of vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec liqueur, to make a drink so strong it comes with a warning. The warning being don’t drink too many or you will start seeing double.
